What we collect

We collect your email address when you sign up for price alerts. We do not collect payment information, physical addresses, or any other personally identifiable information beyond your email and the products you choose to watch.

How we use it

Your email is used solely to send you price-drop alerts you have explicitly subscribed to. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data storage

Email addresses are stored securely in our database hosted in Australia. We use industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit.

Unsubscribing

Every alert email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also contact us at hello@cheapasmate.com to have your data removed.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session management (theme preference, basket state). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded.

Product price data

All grocery price data is collected from publicly accessible store websites. We do not collect or store any personal data as part of price scraping.
